Sustainable mobility
We focus on road use with particular attention to more vulnerable groups of the population and geographical areas at risk of emission, heavy traffic and crashes. By promoting and advocating for soft mobility through cycling and walking, as a simple way to reduce emissions and improve the quality of life, especially in urban areas. With more young people using this means of transport, we also focus on the promotion of child restraint systems (CRS) – the use of helmets, wearing seatbelts and children’s car seats to safeguard their movements. Undertake place making – to help children have access to safe play areas, provide an outdoor experience and meaningful engagement. As a way of helping young people develop mental capacity to identify mobility challenges, curate their environment as desired and involve them in creating solutions. This we do through the different programing i.e. open streets, tactical urbanism etc.
